Navigating our virtual event
The technical bit
Our event is hosted on a series of web pages that offer a range of live webinars and chat booths, all of which are hosted in Zoom. These live activities are complemented by on-demand content that you can browse at your leisure.
To ensure you get the best experience from the event, we advise that you join using a desktop or laptop computer.
How does Zoom work?
Zoom is easy and intuitive to use. You don't need to register for an account or set up a profile to access our event. Simply click on the ‘Speak to us now in Zoom’ or ‘Join the live webinar’ and you’ll be taken into the relevant Zoom booth where our teams or speakers will be waiting to meet you.
You may find yourself in a waiting room, please just wait for our staff to let you in. This shouldn’t take more than a few minutes and allows our staff to wrap up their conversation with the previous visitor.
To engage with us, use your device's camera and microphone, or if you prefer, you can use the chat function to type your questions for us.
You may be invited to join a breakout rooms for a one-to-one discussion. Zoom will generate instructions to follow in this scenario.

Our faculty teams will be on hand to discuss your Master's, PgDip or PgCert of interest. Ask them all your questions about entry requirements, timetables, modules, assessment modes and more.

Degree Apprenticeships
Speak to the team about our range of Master's Level Degree Apprenticeship courses that enable you to study one day a week, alongside your full time job.

Speak to our Learning at Work teams about our range of flexible work-based degrees designed for busy professionals, in full-time employment.

Funding your postgrad study
Our in-house Student Finance team will provide an overview of the available funding options, application processes and repayment. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions after the talk. Alternatively, stop by the Student Finance stand in the Information Hub.
How to apply
Our Admissions team will explain our application process step-by-step, highlighting key considerations and timescales. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions after the talk. Alternatively, visit the Admissions stand in the Information Hub.
Tips for international students
Our global team will share all the need to know if you're applying from elsewhere in the world. Whether it's your visa, fees or a language course you want to know more about, they're on hand to guide you through the process of applying to study with us in ÃÛèÖÍø.

Frequently asked questions
Which Faculty Hub do I need to visit?
To locate a course representative you’ll need to make your way to your Faculty Hub. If you’re unsure which of our five faculties your course sits under, call into our Help desk and we’ll be happy to confirm this for you. Alternatively, check the emails we sent you in the lead up to the event - we included it there.
Can I talk to someone about my course or research subject area?
Yes! If you're interested in one of our Master's courses, visit your Faculty Hub and one of the team will be able to answer your questions, or put you in touch with your course representative at another time convenient to you.
If you're interested in studying a research degree, call into the Research degrees hub where you'll meet a range of research staff and PhD students.
Can I speak to a current postgrad student?
Yes, head on into the Master's Student Hub or Research degrees Hub where you’ll meet a range of current Master’s and Research degree students, respectively.
How do I get info about student support and professional services?
Our Information Hub is where you’ll find all the support and professional services, and details around who is available for you to speak with.
Are the live webinars being recorded?
Yes! We're recording all of today's live sessions, they'll be made available as soon as possible for your to re-watch or catch up. Please be patient while we make them accessible and get them hosted online.
